Djokovic reaches 47th Grand Slam semi final

Novak Djokovic reached a record 47th Grand Slam semi-final with a straight sets victory over American Taylor Fritz at the US Open.

The Serb who is trying to win a 24th major title tells Sky Sports News, playing a home favourite who was backed by the New York crowd actually helped him.

In the women’s quarter-finals, second seed Aryna Sabalenka faces Qinwen Zheng (pr: Kin-wen Jen).

And Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova goes up against home favourite Madison Keys.
