Douglas retained their Rebel Óg Premier 1 minor football championship title last night.
They defeated St Finbarr’s by four points in the in the final in Pairc ui Rinn, winning on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-9, both goals scored by Mark O’Brien, while Jack Brady raised a green flag for the Barrs.
In the Premier 2 final Éire Óg defeated Bandon 2-15 to 0-9, Josh McCarthy and Johnny Galvin finding the net within four minutes to get Éire Óg off to the perfect start.
