Dunkettle Interchange project to begin by October
The long awaited upgrade for the Dunkettle Interchange is due to start in the autumn.
The Irish Examiner reports that TII expects work on the €150 million project to begin by September or October.
Contractors Sisk and TII parted ways in August following a disagreement over costs, resuting in a delay of up to 18 months while another contractor is appointed.
It’s expected the interchange, which handles up to 100,000 vehicles a day will not be completed before 2023.
