Exciting day for students at Midleton CBS Primary school as therapy dog Alfie arrives

The 16 week old Golden-Doodle dog is part of My Canine Companion’s autism and therapy service and will be at the school providing emotional support to students.

Alfie will be trained for the next two years by My Canine Companion and will live with the school’s secretary Letitia.

Speaking to RedFM News, Principal of Midleton CBS Primary School, Niamh O’Leary says it was the perfect time to get a school dog:
