Exciting day for students, teachers and parents at Coláiste Éamann Ris in the city
The school in Ballyphehane is one of the first in the country to reopen for the new term and is welcoming over 140 new students for their first day of secondary school.
Students will have classes, a barbeque and outdoor activities to ease them into the new routine.
