Families of residents at Beaumont Nursing Home to stage a number of protests this morning

The relatives are to gather outside the constituency offices of Ministers Simon Coveney, Michael McGrath and Tánaiste Micheál Martin as they intensify their demands for intervention from the Taoiseach regarding the crisis at the facility.

The families say they have no choice as the home is withdrawing from the Fair Deal scheme as the National Treatment Purchase Fund is refusing to cover inflationary increases

Rosie Roccaforte’s mother is one of the long term residents at the home and she told RedFM News that her mum has no-where to go:
