Final Regulations Signed Today On Burning Of Agricultural Green Waste

Final regulations have been signed today on the burning of agricultural green waste.
They’ll provide for an extension to the exemption which allows for the onsite burning of agricultural green waste in certain limited circumstances.
The Regulations extend the exemption until the 1st of March.
They were drafted by the Department of the Environment following consultation with the Department of Agriculture.
