Fines issued for Covid-19 rule breaches in Cork
Over 200 fines were handed out for breaches of Covid-19 rules in the city last weekend.
The Echo reports the fines were issued to groups of young people attending house parties and drinking outdoors.
Gatherings were broken up at The Lough, Blackrock and Carrigaline.
Chief Superintendent Barry McPolin is appealing for young people to help front line workers by staying at home and says parents have a responsibility to know where their children are.
