First Payments Under ‘Basic Income For The Arts’ Pilot Issued

The first payments under the Basic Income for the Arts pilot have been issued.
2,000 people working in the sector, including musicians, actors and dancers, will get 325 euro a week for three years.
They’ll also provide information as part of a research programme that will inform government policy.
