Flood warning issued by Cork City Council

Business owners and home owners in the city are being urged to be on high alert following a flood warning issued by Cork City Council.
The warning is in place until tomorrow evening due to a forecasted period of high astronomical spring tides.
High tide was at 5.53 this morning with no major flooding reported, while high tide comes again at 6.13pm this evening, 6.35am tomorrow and 6.52 pm tomorrow.
Parking on Morrison’s Island was restricted last night, while the City Council have made sandbags available.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution across low lying areas of the city today and tomorrow.
