Garda forensic officers carryign out examination following fatal collision in Newmarket

Garda forensic officers are carrying out a full examination at the scene of a fatal collision in Newmarket last night.
A motorcyclist, a man in his 40’s, was pronounced dead after the crash involving a tractor at Gooseberryhill which occurred at around 8.15pm.
The road at Gooseberryhill, Newmarket is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí expect the road to remain closed for a number of hours.
They are also appealing to anyone who was travelling in the Gooseberryhill area between 7:45pm and 8:30pm who may have dash cam footage to make it available to Gardaí.
