Gardaí say they are very concerned about the safety of the 47-year-old who has been missing in Cork city for over two weeks.

An extensive investigation into the disappearance of Kieran Quilligan is ongoing after he went missing from the city centre at around 9:30pm on Friday the 1st of September.

Kieran is described as around five foot seven in height, with a medium build, blue eyes and brown/grey hair. He also has a large tattoo on the side of his neck.

Speaking to RedFM News, Detective Superintendent Michael Comyns outlines Kieran Quilligan’s last known movements:

“He left a premises on Anderson’s Quay on the first of September with another male, came across the city centre with that male. We have tracked him on CCTV coming across Cork city center to Sullivan’s Quay, and here to Proby’s Quay and St Finbarr’s Place. Our inquiries led us to interview a number of people and to carry out searches in this area. I’m very concerned for Kieran’s safety and wellbeing.”
