Gordon D’Arcy says exciting signs coming from Munster
Former Ireland centre Gordon D’Arcy thinks there’s plenty of exciting signs at Munster this season.
Johann van Graan’s side have opened their United Rugby Championship campaign with back-to-back wins against the Sharks and the Stormers.
They’ve been boosted by the return of record try scorer Simon Zebo and the recovery from injury of Springboks forward R-G Snyman.
D’Arcy thinks there’s also more to come from out-half Joey Carbery.
“it’s still only the second game of the year, and I think Joe Carbery is the only guy who hasn’t clicked yet.
“I’m just glad that he’s played two games in a row and there’s no injuries. We’re starting to get a little bit of consistency from him.
“He’s doing very little wrong, but he’s not doing anything that we’re used to from Joey Carbery yet.”
