Homeowners Facing Biggest Hike In Mortgage Costs For More Than A Decade
Last updated on
Homeowners are facing the biggest hike in mortgage costs for more than a decade.
Reports in today’s Irish Independent say the country is facing as many as three interest rate increases by the end of the year.
That could cost homeowners an extra one-thousand euro a year in higher repayments.
The European Central Bank last raised interest rates in August 2011 – but hikes this year are expected in July, September and December.
