The HPV vaccine’s to be made available for free to all women under 25 to reduce cervical cancer rates.
The Health Minister has written to the HSE to outline a vaccination programme for women, and a catch-up programme for girls and boys in secondary school.
It follows new advice from the National Immunisation Advisory Committee to “prioritise” women under 25 and second-level students for vaccination.
