Iconic Nightclub Copper Face Jacks To Re-Opening On Friday 22nd October

Iconic nightclub Copper Face Jacks has announced it’s re-opening on Friday, 22nd October.

The announcement was made on their Instagram page with the caption saying ‘the wait is over’.

The Dublin club has been closed since March 2020, and the doors will reopen on the same day almost all Covid-19 restrictions are set to ease.

Richard Guiney, from Dublin Town, says he hopes reopening late bars and nightclubs will provide a boost for the the night-time economy:

“Footfall in the city is generally about two thirds of what it would have been in 2019. But we’re really noticing that it’s the post 5pm footfall that suffering most. Before the pandemic, people used the city to shop and socialise and take in entertainment. So we believe that the reopening of aspects of the economy that had been closed will certainly be of benefit.”
