If the issues at Dublin Airport aren't fixed by September, we're facing into a bleak winter.
That's according to an airport safety and security auditor.
Kevin Byrne's comments come after four North American airlines operating out of Dublin warned urgent action is needed to sort the delays:
"Really, if it isn't sorted by September, we're looking at a bleak winter and not such a good summer for 2023. So, hopefully things get better because you know, it's a huge, huge advantage. Dublin is a particular hub for Ireland. It really is a huge engine that generates lots and lots of money".
