IFA dismiss fears of Turkey shortage this Christmas

The Irish Farmers Association has dismissed fears of a turkey shortage this Christmas.

A bird flu outbreak in Monaghan recently led to restriction zones being implemented and flocks culled.

Concerns were raised about the supply of turkeys this Christmas as a result.

However, President of the IFA, Tim Cullinan, wants to calm people’s nerves.
