Intellectual Disability Services in Cork could be slashed

Services at one of the HSE’s biggest providers of services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in Cork could be slashed.

Co Action says that as well as temporary cuts announced for Castletownbere recently they are also struggling to recruit suitably qualified staff for the facility and its other centres in Bantry.

The Irish Examiner reports that the recent closure of Co Actions Castletownbere facility is connected to recruitment challenges.

RedFM news has requested a statement from CoAction.
