Ireland team named for Six Nations opener

The Ireland team to face Wales in their Six Nations opener in Dublin on Saturday has been named.

As expected Mack Hansen of Connacht comes in for his ireland debut, replacing the injured James Lowe on the wing.

Munster’s Tadhg Beirne is named in the second row, with Andrew Conway on the wing.

Peter O’Mahony, Conor Murray and Joey Carbery are named among the replacements.

Johnny Sexton is named as captain in what will be his 102nd cap for Ireland.
