Ireland’s Sovereign Credit Rating Upgraded To AA-

Ireland’s sovereign credit rating has been upgraded to Double-A-Minus.

It’s the first time the country has returned to Fitch’s Double A rating category since 2010.

In making its decision, Fitch cited the continued improvement in our tax revenues and the extent of the strong economic recovery from the pandemic shocks.
