ITV’s insisted there are ‘no plans’ for This Morning to be axed in the wake of the Phillip Schofield row.

He quit – after admitting having an affair with a younger colleague on the show – and lying about it.

Co-host Holly Willoughby says that was ‘very hurtful’.

In a statement, the channel says the show will return as normal tomorrow.
