Junior Business Minister says more must be done to improve Cork housing

The Junior Business Minister says Cork is seen a safe place to invest in but says more needs to be done to improve the housing situation.
Minister Damien English was speaking yesterday at the official opening of a new Workplace Relations Commission office in the city centre.
The population of the city and suburbs is expected to jump by up to 125,000 people in the next twenty years according to the Ireland 2040 plan.
The lack of accommodation is something the minister says the government is keen to improve by increasing the funding and staffing allocated to tackling vacancies.
