Large Crowd Gathered On Steps Of Washington Street Courthouse Last Night To Protest Rebranding Of Chambers Bar

A large crowd gathered on the steps of the Courthouse on Washington Street in the city last night to protest against the rebranding of Chambers bar.

The LGBTQ+ bar will become “Sinners” during Freshers Week.

Members of the LGBTQ+ community say they are not comfortable with the changes which include removing pride flags.

Management say the bar has hosted student nights as Sinners since 2016 and say it will return as Chambers after Freshers Week
