The leader of the British Virgin Islands has appeared in court, after being charged with drug smuggling and money laundering in the United States.
Premier Andrew Fahie was detained in Miami by US agents posing as members of a Mexican drug cartel.
He’s alleged to have agreed a payment of almost 600-thousand euro, to allow traffickers to use his territory’s ports.
