The leader of the DUP’s told the Tánaiste the Irish Government must “step up to the mark” and call its own public inquiry into the Omagh bombing.

It comes after the British government announced plans for its own investigation into the 1998 atrocity.

Micheál Martin’s holding a series of meetings with Stormont party leaders in Belfast today.

They’re also discussing the now 1 year power-sharing impasse.
