Lifeline Extended To Goleen Post Office

A lifeline has been extended to Goleen Post Office which was due to close next week.
A prospective candidate has come forward to run the post office in Goleen which was due to close on 31st May.
An Post has confirmed that a “decent prospect” has applied for the position and the existing Post Mistress has agreed to stay on, to insure the smooth transition of the changeover of facilities
A proposed public meeting on the matter which was due to take place on Monday May 31st in Goleen has been cancelled as a result.
