Live at the Marquee returns for another season tonight

Live at the Marquee returns for another season tonight.

Joanne McNally and Vogue Williams kick off the Summer series this evening with their Live Show of their podcast “My Therapist Ghosted Me” which will run for the next three nights.

It’s the start of many big acts coming to Cork till late June such as Rod Stewart, Tommy Tiernan and Olly Murs.

Hotels are booked up and bars and restaurants are set to be busy as Live at the Marquee and Musgrave park gigs are worth around 40 million euro to the local economy.

Speaking to RedFM News, Cork Business Association President Kevin Herlihy says it’s a great boost for hospitality:

“It’s really fantastic for hospitality, retail, the pubs and restaurants are all very heavily booked and as are the hotels, so it’s really a fantastic thing for Cork, as is all the other events that are going on over June including the festival in Musgrave Park with Kodaline etc. So it’s not just the marquee, June is a fabulous month to be in Cork”
