London’s Metropolitan Police Asking Permission Directly From UK Court of Appeal To Challenge Sarah Everard Ruling Against It

London’s Metropolitan Police is asking permission directly from the UK Court of Appeal to challenge a ruling against it, over the Sarah Everard vigil.

Last month the UK High Court found officers breached the rights of the event’s organisers, with its handling of the planned event last March.

The force said in a statement that the appeal is about the decisions and communications with organisers beforehand.
