Lowest number of Coronavirus cases across Europe in two months

Europe has recorded its fewest number of cases of Covid-19 in a single day for over two months.

The World Health Organisation says Tuesday saw the least cases in the continent since March 22nd.

But there have still been more than 100,000 cases across the world for each of the past five days.

Europe has recorded its fewest number of cases of Covid-19 in a single day for over two months.

“The Americas continues to account for the most number of cases.

“For several weeks, the numbers of cases reported each day in the Americas has been more than the rest of the world put together.

“We’re  especially worried about Central and South America, where many countries are witnessing accelerating epidemics.”
