Major Garda recruitment campaign begins this Friday and will run for three weeks

1,000 people are being recruited this year.
The Garda Commissioner Drew Harris has called on people from all backgrounds to apply.
He says the intention is to have annual recruitment campaigns in the future, and there’s a ‘strong case’ for over 15,000 Gardaí in Ireland.
