Met Éireann say the hottest day in Ireland ever recorded could be on the way

33.3 degrees hasn’t been recorded here since it happened in Kilkenny back in 1887.
The forecaster has a weather advisory in operation from Sunday.
Evelyn Cusack says everyone needs to be careful:
“Take a few minutes to go onto the Be Summer Ready [advice page] at gov.ie. The absolutely all the advice there because we don’t get this very often, so we forget.”
