More than half a billion euro has been allocated for local and regional roads

The funding will allow around 3,100 kilometers of roads to be maintained and over 2,500 kilometers to be strengthened.
€76 million of the funding will be allocated to regional and local roads across Cork.
Transport Minister Eamon Ryan says the main priority for the year continues to be the protection and renewal of the existing regional and local road network.
