MTV Video Music Awards 2022

The MTV Music Awards is set to take place on August 28th and the first batch of performers have been announced.

Anitta, J. Balvin, Marshmello x Khalid and Panic! At the Disco are all on tap to hit the stage at New Jerseys’ Prudential Center.

MTV announced the officall nominee list for its 2022 show, which sees Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X in the lead with seven nominees each. Doja Cat and Harry Styles follow with 6 nominees for their music magic.

Drake, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd are also among top contendors with 5 nominees a piece.

This year’s VMAs will also see 26 first-time nominees be up for a Moon Person, including Baby Keem, GAYLE, Kacey Musgraves and Måneskin — each with multiple nods.
