Nearly nine in ten parents are shopping around for bargains as kids go back to school.
Two-thirds are worried about setting aside finances for buying items during the academic year.
The research, carried out by Curry’s, found more than half will spend at least 500 euro before schools reopen.
60 per cent of those surveyed will buy a laptop for their child online rather than in-store.
