New English Leaving Cert & Junior Cert curriculum sees the addition of Spiderman and Knives Out

Spider Man: Into The Spider-Verse and The Shawshank Redemption have been added to Junior Cert and Leaving Cert examinations.
As part of a new English curriculum, there’s been an overhaul in the list of films for students to study.
The Junior Cert will feature movies such as Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, the musical Sing Street and Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train.
Leaving Cert students will analyse the likes of Knives Out, Casablanca and a 2019 documentary on Diego Maradona.
