New Michael Collins Statue In City Centre Set To Be Unveiled In August

A new Michael Collins statue in the city centre looks set to be unveiled in August.
The statue will be placed near the City Library, on Grand Parade .
Mallow sculptor Kevin Holland will be casting the sculpture in bronze in the coming weeks.
While, Clonakilty sign artist Tomás Tuipéar is preparing an inscribed stone for the base of the the statue
The new statue’s unveiling is planned for the 20th August.
