Northern Ireland: British Prime Minister Says No New Deal Yet On Post-Brexit Trade In Northern Ireland

The British Prime Minister says there’s no new deal yet with the EU to solve issues around post-Brexit trade in Northern Ireland.

The region is currently part of the EU’s single market, with a de-facto trade border in the Irish Sea – something the Democratic Unionist Party object to.

Today Rishi Sunak spoke to the main political parties in the North about possible solutions, and says there have been some “positive conversations”.
