Number 10 says Johnson won’t resign
Number Ten insists Boris Johnson won’t resign – even if he faces a vote of no confidence over lockdown parties in Downing Street.
Yesterday in the UK House of Commons, one of the senior members of the Prime Minister’s own party, David Davis, called for him to step down.
Another MP, Christian Wakeford, defected to Labour.
Richard Holden’s one of the newest Tory MPs – he says the party shouldn’t rush into anything.
“We must wait for the Sue Grey report.
“We need to have established facts. Anything that happens now will be there before we have an accepted version of what’s gone on, and we need to have that before we move.”
