Number of deaths in Wuhan revised upwards

The total number of coronavirus deaths in the Chinese city where the outbreak began has been revised up – by a 50 per cent increase.

Officials in Wuhan say almost 3-thousand-900 people have died – a rise from around 2-thousand-600 previously announced.

They say the new figure follows incorrect reporting, delays and omissions.
