One third of parents say they were unprepared to deal with a teenager – and the majority say 15 is the most difficult age.

The poll from A Vogel shows exam stress, peer pressures and hormones are the main reasons why 15 is a tricky time.

Three quarters of parents say 13 to 19 is the most difficult period of raising a child.
