Over 100 people are being treated on trolleys at Cork’s three emergency hospitals

Cork University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country with 76 patients waiting for a bed at the facility, 24 people are on trolleys at the Mercy and 6 at Bantry General
Nationally 627 people are waiting on trolleys in hospitals across the country today – that’s 100 more than this day last week.
University Hospital Limerick remains the most overcrowded in the country, with 97 patients waiting for a bed today.
