Over 22,800 people emigrated from Ireland last year, according to figures from the CSO.
An updated number for 2022 will be published later this month and is expected to be even higher.
24 year old Thomas Linehan recently swapped his native Kerry for London and expects others to follow him:
"Everyone that I speak to wants to go, this time last year my sister has moved over here. You could see maybe 15 people have moved over here in the space of a year, and there will be more people to come. So people are dying to get out of Ireland."
