Over 27,000 hospital appointments were cancelled in Cork in the first half of 2021.
The Echo report that the cancellations were across 5 hospitals between January and June.
The Figures include over 23,000 outpatient procedures, and 4,500 day procedure.
It's believed that Covid-19 was a large reason for the cancellations, with patients and hospitals cancelling appointments as a result.
Cork University Hospital had the largest number of outpatient cancellations with almost 18,000 in that six month period.
