Over 600 new homes set to be built in Cork City

Plans for over 600 new homes in Cork City have been approved.

An Bord Pleanála has approved plans for 12 buildings at the former CMP site at the junction of Kinsale Road and Tramore Road, which will comprise of apartments and townhouse apartments in a mix of one, two, three and four bed units.

The CMP site closed in 2006, remaining mostly unused since then.
