Over 7,000 new homes completed in second quarter of 2022

There’s been an increase of over 50% in the number of new homes completed in the second quarter of the year.
7,654 new houses and apartments were completed, which is up 53.4% on the same period in 2021.
The figures are almost 60% up on pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
Of the homes completed, just over half were housing estates, more than 30% were apartments and 17.4% were single properties.
