Over €600,000 of drugs seized in Cork and Dublin

Three people are due before Bantry District Court later in connection with drugs seizures in Cork and Dublin

€645,000 worth of cannabis and cannabis-related products were seized in the operation and three arrested – a woman in her 50s and two men in their 30s

Gardaí attached to Bantry Garda Station, Cork West Divisional Drugs Unit, and Store Street Garda Station with the assistance of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and the Department of Health, searched a number of business and residential premises in West Cork, Cork City and Dublin City.

All drugs are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland

The three arrested were detained at Garda stations in West Cork and Cork city, and were subsequently charged and now due before Bantry District Court today

Gardai have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
