Páirc Ui Chaoimh vaccination centre closes

The last appointments at the centre took place on Tuesday afternoon almost six months after the first vaccine was given there.

The HSE says the team administered a total of 158,081 doses in total and have expressed their thanks to the GAA for it’s support in making the stadium available.

Planning for a new vaccine centre in the city is at an advanced stage.

Meanwhile appointments and walk-in vaccinations are continuing at City Hall.

Walk-in clinics will take place in the City Hall vaccination centre on:

Friday September 17th from 1pm to 4pm
Saturday September 18th from 11am to 2pm

The Bantry centre (in the new primary care centre) will have a walk-in clinic on Saturday, from 9am to 11am and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

A walk-in clinic will run at Mallow GAA club on Sunday, from 9.15am to 11.15am.

There will also be walk-in vaccinations on Sunday at Clonakilty, 9am to 11am.
