Penneys’ Parent Company Primark Announces It Will Use More Sustainable Cotton In Its Stores

Penneys’ parent company Primark has announced it will be using more sustainable cotton in its stores.

The retailer has pledged that 100 per cent of the cotton in its clothes will be organic, recycled or sustainably sourced by 2027.

More than 275 thousand farmers from Bangladesh, Pakistan and India will supply the store with greener cotton by the end of next year.
