Phase one of Marina Park has officially been opened.
The Taoiseach and Lord Mayor of Cork City were in attendance of the park where they planted trees and wildflowers with local schools to represent biodiversity within the park.
The 70 acre Marina Park is part of the 146 hectare Cork Docklands development, which is the largest regeneration project in the country.
